The 13th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering (ESEE) was organized at Toulouse in France by the Working Party on Electrochemical Engineering (WPEE) of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE). This symposium focused on “electrochemical engineering as the key to overcoming current societal issues pertaining to Energy, Environment, Raw Materials, Pollution/Waste treatment, etc…”.
This symposium aimed at bringing people together from both academic and industrials areas to share the latest research, advances, and knowledge in the field of electrochemical engineering and electrochemistry. This event welcomed more than 150 participants from over 24 countries.
From Solvionic, an industrial participant of this symposium, Alix Ladam attended this event and presented how Solvionic brings ionic liquid-based electrolytes to the market. During that presentation, the GREENCAP project was presented as one of Solvionic’s research projects for supercapacitor electrolyte development.
