On January 23, 2025, the fifth General Assembly meeting of GREENCAP was held online, marking the start of the project’s final year.
The meeting highlighted significant progress in sustainable energy storage, with discussions covering material selection and characterization, prototype testing, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The insights gained will contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable, and scalable methods for CRM-free materials, advancing their industrial application in supercapacitors.
Following the GA meeting, the Second Advisory Board (AB) convened, providing an opportunity for external experts to review the project’s progress and offer feedback The Advisory Board, composed of leading specialists from academia and industry, included Prof. Yury Gogotsi (Drexel University), Prof. Patrice Simon (Université Paul Sabatier), Dr. Adelina Braun and Dr. Adam Raw (Merck), and Dr. Luigi Lanuzza (EnelX).
