GREENCAP partners achieved a remarkable milestone with a 27F multilayer pouch cell prototype based on novel 2D materials electrodes (curve graphene and few layer graphene) and ionic liquid electrolytes, achieving energy density of 20 Wh/kg at 297 W/kg and volumetric energy density of 14.2 Wh/L. The results demonstrate the viability of curved graphene and few layer graphene-based electrodes for high-performance supercapacitors. The combination of stable ionic liquid electrolyte, tailored electrode formulation, and scalable pouch cell architecture offers a promising pathway for future integration into commercial energy storage systems.
Congratulations to our GREENCAP partners on this remarkable achievement!
