The 7th International Conference on Advanced Capacitors (ICAC) was held in Kamakura, Japan on 26-29 September 2023 and brought together distinguished experts academic and industry professionals from various fields related to discuss the concrete role of capacitors including EDLCs, Li-ion capacitors, and electrochemical capacitors as high efficient energy storage devices.
The ICAC conferences are among the most important international conferences dedicated to electrochemical capacitors and Prof. Andrea Balducci from FRIEDRICH-SCHILLER UNIVERSITY JENA (FSU), research partner in GREENCAP was invited to give an open plenary lecture at the event. His presentation emphasized the key role of the electrolyte in these energy storage devices and presented the latest findings on the development of sustainable electrolytes for supercapacitors and lithium-ion capacitors.
These results are part of the developments within the GREENCAP project towards novel and sustainable electrolytes for supercapacitors.
